Life takes shape through the things we meet every day: a morning cup of tea, the shade of a tree outside, a comfortable place to sit, a table with room for everyone.
Founded by Hoàng Quang, THEN Collective brings together tea, places to share it, Japanese gardens and architecture. We hope to contribute to everyday life through practical care: choosing a tea, understanding a garden, thinking closely about how a space will be used.

THEN Tea
A cup of tea, many occasions to share.
THEN Tea focuses on Vietnam’s ancient-tree Shan Tuyet tea and teas kept with care over time.
There is tea for everyday drinking, a tea cake to explore one infusion at a time, and a gift for someone you treasure, carrying a simple invitation: when there is time, let us put the kettle on and sit together.
We want you to understand the tea you choose: its origin, how it was made, the year it entered storage, its format and how to brew it. What you discover in the cup is yours to find.
Am Trà Việt
A place to sit together over a pot of tea.
Am Trà Việt begins with the wish to create places where people can meet around tea.
A kettle, a few cups and someone across the table can make room for many things: a conversation, a first introduction to tea, or a pause in an ordinary working day.
Am is being developed through pilot spaces and formats. We want to begin with real experiences, listen to the people who visit and take care over how we welcome them before expanding.
JP Park
Bringing nature closer to everyday life.
JP Park is dedicated to the craft of traditional Japanese gardens, considering how stone, water, plants and open space come together.
We see a garden in relation to the home and the people who use it: where it is viewed from, how you walk through it, where you stop to sit and how it will be cared for as the plants grow.
A garden has a life of its own through sun, rain and changing seasons. Our work is to understand those changes and make room for nature in daily life.
HQ Architecture
Thinking about space through the way people live.
HQ Architecture is the architecture practice within THEN Collective.
We begin with questions about the people who will use a place. Who will live here? How does their day unfold? Where do they need company, and where do they need privacy? How can light and nature enter?
These questions inform the layout, materials and everyday details. We work towards places that are carefully understood, thoughtfully made and suited to the lives within them.
Where the work comes together
Tea needs a way of brewing and a comfortable place to sit. A home needs light, greenery and care for its occupants. A garden needs tending long after it is made.
These connections bring our brands together in THEN Collective. Each keeps its own expertise, contributing when a need calls for more than one perspective.
As part of the Collective’s learning and research, THEN Tea Academy is also developing work around tea and ceramics. Individual programmes will be introduced when they are ready.
